Priming the "Ki (氣)"
The theme of the seminar will be "Priming the Ki". Continuing from the last seminar, Edward sensei will continue his focus on the "Ki".
Edward sensei will explain clearly classic ;such as Su Wen(素問), Ling Shu(霊枢), and Nan Jing(難經) instructions on how to utilise Ki more effectively for the treatments. He will share knowledge gained through his clinical practice to benefit you and your practice. We will learn how to utilise Ki more naturally in our treatments.

This time, he will introduce the missing link to help you develop a deeper grasp of acupuncture in general and Japanese acupuncture in particular. Edward calls this the DS Method. It consists of the combination of Japanese  "Dashin Jutsu (打鍼術) Tap needling technique and the Thai "Dokusen" (ตอกเส้น), Energy Line tapping method. Understanding of this vibrational method will lead to a fuller understanding of the development and use of the Kanshin Ho (管鍼法) Needle tube method that people generally associate with Japnese acupuncture   today.

Initiating Change
Our goal is to initiate change in all those that attend. Depending on the attendee, this will manifest as a shift in consciousness and/or technical competence, Ki generation, and wellbeing. Whatever the level of experience of the attendee, there will be improvements in treatment skills including:
  • Diagnosis: Palpation, pulse diagnosis, abdominal diagnosis
  • Treatment: Root treatment, local treatment
  • Improvement of practical skills that will necessarily aid our understanding of theory as well.

 Practical

The seminar will include practical demonstrations of the techniques and approaches discussed.
There will also be ample time for attendees to apply the techniques demonstrated and to
 establish   correct training methods.

The training methods will allow attendees to build on the skills learnt during the seminar.
